By accessing or using PlanITPoker at https://www.planitpoker.net, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Service description

PlanITPoker provides a free online planning poker tool that allows agile teams to create estimation rooms, add user stories, vote on story points, and view results in real time. The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied.

Eligibility and accounts

No account registration is required. You choose a nickname when joining a room. You are responsible for the nickname and content you submit during a session. You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the service.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or compromise rooms or infrastructure
• Upload abusive, harassing, or illegal content in story titles or nicknames
• Scrape, crawl, or automate access in a way that harms the service
• Misrepresent your affiliation with PlanITPoker or other entities
• Circumvent security or access controls

Session data and availability

Estimation rooms and their data are temporary. We may remove inactive rooms, modify features, or interrupt the service for maintenance without notice. We are not responsible for data loss in ephemeral sessions. Export estimates to your issue tracker if you need a permanent record.

Intellectual property

The PlanITPoker name, logo, site design, and original guide content are owned by the operator of PlanITPoker. You retain ownership of content you enter during sessions (story titles, nicknames). You grant us a limited license to store and display that content solely to operate the service.

Advertising

PlanITPoker is free and supported by advertising, including Google AdSense. Ads are subject to third-party terms. See our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy for how advertising and analytics work.

Disclaimer of warranties

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Estimation results are decisions made by your team — PlanITPoker is a facilitation tool, not professional project management or consulting advice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PlanITPoker and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the free service.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PlanITPoker from claims arising from your misuse of the service or violation of these terms.

Changes to the service and terms

We may update the service or these terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction where the operator of PlanITPoker is established, without regard to conflict of law principles.
